I am currently a postdoc at the Laboratoire Lagrange of the Observatoire de la Côte d'Azur (Nice, France) in the Galaxies and Cosmology team. My work concentrates on the study of resolved stellar populations in nearby stellar systems, from globular clusters in our Milky Way to large spiral galaxies in nearby groups.
I am also a core member of an international project called LCID (for Local Cosmology from Isolated Dwarfs). The aim of this project is to constrain the star formation histories of a sample of isolated dwarf galaxies of the Local Group, using deep color-magnitude diagrams and the properties of variable stars, based on very deep images obtained with the Hubble Space Telescope. Within this project, I am leading the analysis of the populations of variable stars. I have recently been invited to join its successor, the ISLAndS survey, with the same aims but focusing instead on the satellite galaxies of the Andromeda galaxy.
A few years ago, I joined the Pan-STARRS1 Science Consortium, specifically the 'Key Project 5' dedicated to the study of the structure of the Milky Way and nearby galaxies within the Local Group. In this project I am responsible for the analysis of the Milky Way globular clusters and their tidal streams. I am also a member of the Data reduction, analysis, and verification group (DRAVG).
On this website, you can find more details about my research, a short Curriculum Vitae, a list of publications, and the best ways to contact me.
