The Centre Spatial de l'Université (CSU) Côte d'Azur brings together several laboratories from Université Côte d'Azur, CNRS, INRIA, Observatoire de la Côte d'Azur, Ecole des Mines de Paris and IRD to train higher education students in space techniques through nanosatellite projects.

The first CSU Côte d'Azur satellite, Nice Cube, is currently in phase A.

The CSU Côte d'Azur is part of the French CSU network. In France, a number of universities and engineering schools are building satellites, with the help of the CNES (https://nanolab-academy.cnes.fr/fr).
